Filed in the “aw, shucks” department–
While checking my e-mail this morning, I was surprised to discover that not only was the Cocktail Chronicles nominated for “Best Blog Covering Drinks” as part of the 2007 Food Blog Awards over at the Well Fed Network, but I somehow made it into the top five finalists. Even better, two of the other four spots are occupied by good friends and fellow booze-bloggers, Anita & Cameron at Married…With Dinner, and Jeffrey Morgenthaler at his eponymous blog.
Polling runs through this week, wrapping up on Friday just before midnight Eastern time. Winners of these awards tend to be the wine-bloggers, but it sure would be nice to see someone from the cocktail category take the top slot for a change. So, be sure to stop by and cast a vote for one of the shaker-wielding bloggers, and get it in by Friday night.
